Balancing the Desk and the Dinner Table: Auditions, Family, and Maintaining the Human Side

Life as a business owner is always a delicate balancing act, but when you add "husband" and "father" into the mix, the days become a fast-paced, high-stakes puzzle.

This week has been a powerful reminder of how those worlds constantly overlap.

The Silent Grind Behind the Scenes

It has been a hugely exciting, high-energy week at the desk, with a whole heap of auditions and recalls flooding in for our talent. I don't usually like to shout about auditions or recalls on social media—I prefer to save the noise for the confirmed bookings and big wins! But seeing the momentum build behind the scenes and watching casting directors respond to our talent is a brilliant validation of the hard work everyone is putting in.

A Big Win at Home

Beyond the agency, it’s also been a week of major personal celebration. My eldest daughter received her GCSE results and did exceptionally well, securing her place at the college of her choice!

By nature, I’m quite a private person. I tend to keep my personal life close to my chest and let the agency's work speak for itself. But every now and then, I think it’s important to share a little piece of the human side behind Ghostlight.

Celebrating my daughter's success alongside our talents' achievements reminds me why I do this: it’s all about nurturing potential, supporting dreams, and celebrating the milestones that matter.
