From Newcastle to The Phoenix Cinema (London): A Week on the Road with Ghostlight

It was an absolute whirlwind of miles, performances, and red carpet celebrations!

Newcastle Bound for The Girl on the Train

Hot on the heels of her recent trip down to London to wrap on a short film, a trip up to Newcastle to catch the wonderful Ellie-Brooke Adamson performing in The Girl on the Train at the People's Theatre. It was a very long drive there and back in the car, but it was thoroughly worth every single mile. Ellie is just wonderful to watch on stage and seeing her energy remain so magnetic on stage was fantastic.

Red Carpets at the iconic Phoenix Cinema (London)

Later in the week, it was a quick dash down to London to watch Olivia Black in short film ‘Deadcast’. Olivia actually filmed this project last year before joining Ghostlight, so attending the red carpet event in East Finchley to celebrate an exclusive screening was a real treat. The film was excellent, Olivia was absolutely brilliant in it, and seeing her work on the big screen has sparked a whole batch of new ideas for how we're going to push her career forward!

Kicking Off the Week with a Win

Looking ahead, we are stepping into this week with some fantastic news already locked in: Jude O’Dwyer has officially been confirmed for a new job and will be working this week!

It’s always a joy seeing hard work turn into booked work.

Here’s to another week of momentum!
