Full Circle in Leeds: A Night at The Adelphi - Pub Theatre

After a busy few weeks of London trips, it was a joy to stay closer to home on Thursday for a night of "Pub Theatre" at The Adelphi in Leeds.

There is a unique magic to these intimate settings. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and encouraging, proving that you don’t need a massive West End stage to create something impactful.

Watching New Material

The highlight of the evening for me was seeing a range of actors and abilities taking to the stage. It was a fantastic reminder of the talent we have right here in the North.

But the real "proud teacher" moment? One of the pieces was directed by an ex-student of mine from my college teaching days. Seeing their piece command the room, and bring a vision to life was absolutely brilliant. It’s moments like these that make everything I do in the talent industry feel so rewarding.

Supporting local theatre isn’t just about seeing a show; it’s about nurturing the ecosystem that allows new directors and performers to find their voice.
