The Joy of the Craft: From Manchester to a Ghostlight Milestone
Last weekend, my daughter and I took a trip over to Manchester to The Edge Theatre for the performance: Lions versus Elephants, a brilliant comedy diving into relationships, breakups, and revelations.
Finding Inspiration on Stage
Rayyah McCaul was part of the main cast of four, and she was just incredible to watch. Rayyah is a wonderful friend of mine as well as a fantastic performer, and it was a real joy to see her up there. The entire ensemble delivered a brillant performance, but seeing her bring such fantastic energy and comedic timing was a real treat.
As I move further down the road into life as an agent, moments like this are a vital reset button. Watching exceptional theatre brings me immense joy and completely refuels my creative tank. What made the evening even more special was having my daughter right there beside me. Whether she decides to forge a path into the arts or not doesn't matter; what’s lovely is having someone to dissect and discuss theatre with on the journey home, especially when the rest of the family are off doing other things!
A Labor of Love: The New Database is Ready!
That creative inspiration has carried right into a massive milestone week here at Ghostlight.
It has been an absolute labour of love behind the scenes, but I am incredibly happy to say that the new talent page is officially good to go and ready to share with the world! The centerpiece is a fully searchable talent database, making it easier than ever for casting directors and creatives to see exactly who everyone is and explore our incredible roster.
I couldn't be prouder of how it has come together, and I can't wait for you all to see it.
